Background and Rationale
In 2024, the Company continued to expand its network of distributors in Europe for Efemia Bladder Support, adding new distributors in Poland, Spain, Malta, Denmark, and Hungary. In Sweden, where the Company manages sales directly, Efemia Bladder Support has been procured for prescription in all 21 healthcare regions. The focus in Sweden is on educating healthcare professionals so that they feel confident in recommending and prescribing Efemia Bladder Support, making it the first choice for women with stress urinary incontinence.
Furthermore, UriCap Female was introduced to the Swedish market in spring 2024. The Company is now in discussions with several regions interested in testing and evaluating the product. Regarding FlowCup, the Company shifted its focus in 2024 to primarily working on ongoing NGO projects due to declining profitability in e-commerce. FlowCup has distributed 60,000 menstrual cups to countries with limited access to safe and hygienic menstrual products, often lacking basic sanitation facilities.
The Company has experienced strong growth over the past two years, with sales of Efemia Bladder Support increasing by more than 40 percent in 2024. This growth has occurred while the Company has reduced its costs, significantly improving its financial results. These developments demonstrate that the Company’s initiatives have yielded positive outcomes.
